BootieButler would like to extend many thanks to those who checked out the BootieButler booth at the 40th Annual EOS/ESD Symposium! It was an incredible event that presented so many new ideas and technologies to control and dissipate unwanted static, which is why we’re honored t0 have participated.

What is the EOS/ESD Symposium?

The annual exhibition is consistently recognized by attendees as a vital part of this event providing networking and educational opportunities that are critical to their careers and companies. This recognition comes from exhibitors, like BootieButler, who continually provide innovations and new products to share with our attendees. The Symposium exhibitors all come together under one roof to show the new products, services, and solutions they have for your current and future needs.

What Was Our Favorite Part?

Even with so many state-of-the art ESD technologies and solutions, our favorite part of the event was meeting YOU, our potential customers! We truly enjoyed speaking with each attendee, about specific needs in creating a faster, cleaner, safer workplace — and one that isn’t hindered by STATIC. Best yet, we have expanded our product line to fit YOUR anti-static needs — check out our full line of anti-static shoe covers here.

What Do You Need to Know About ESD?

In many industries, electrostatic discharge (ESD) poses the risk of contaminating equipment, products, and environments. Additionally, electrostatic sensitive devices, such as computer cards, laser diodes, high-precision resistors, and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) may be rendered useless when exposed to electrostatic discharge, thus, draining your company’s resources and assets. Although we cannot completely eliminate the source of ESD, it is with the help of BootieButler products that we can limit the ways in which it’s created. In order to mitigate the effects of ESD, employers can implement BootieButler’s ESD shoe covers, also referred to as conductive strip shoe covers.

How Can Our Shoe Booties Help?

All of our shoe covers are considered anti-static (which more accurately means static resistant, not completely static proof), many have non-conductive soles, and an elite handful contains electrostatic dissipation strips. For the best protection against static, check out our ESD and FAS booties — their electrostatic dissipation strips provide a static ground to dissipate any static charge that might be created when walking, sort of like a lightning rod!

In Case We Missed Something

While we hope we answered many (or all) of your questions at the EOS/ESD Symposium or through this blog, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask us any lingering questions you may have. We will gladly answer your questions or clarify any details about our ESD shoe covers as well as our completely hands-free shoe cover system! We hope that you keep BootieButler on your mind as you look for ways to increase safety, cleanliness, compliance, and efficiency for you and your team.
