BootieButler was founded in 2004 as a subsidiary of the Protexer Corporation. When the founders visited a trade show in China, they discovered just how easily shoe cover dispensers integrate into any and every disposable shoe cover routine. They also identified the huge market for shoe cover dispensers in the United States. Once the initial idea took root, the Protexer team dedicated themselves to researching the most efficient and the most sanitary models of shoe cover dispensers to bring back to the States. Their research and development yielded the BootieButler disposable shoe cover dispensing system.
The KineticButler: Modern Shoe Cover Dispensers
BootieButler’s original shoe cover dispenser was relatively elementary and only really used for real estate open houses, construction, and the like. In 2005, Protexer Inc. began conducting business under the name BootieButler and took the Original BootieButler shoe cover dispenser and line of disposable shoe covers to the market. Not only did the system receive great feedback, but the BootieButler team saw the opportunity to expand their products to meet the needs of even more industries and uses. BootieButler Operations
The BootieButler distribution center started at 12,000 square feet in Morristown, Tennessee; however, the unique BootieButler solution quickly became so popular that the company was forced to upgrade to a 19,000 square foot space. Still conveniently located in Morristown, BootieButler was able to fully accommodate the newfound spike in popularity while still following their mission of providing exemplary customer service. All administrative offices are located just around the corner from production in Knoxville, Tennessee.
